What a crazy ride we have encountered this season so far, Everton sit pretty at the top of the league.
A coy Carlo Ancelotti has told the African Football Expert, “This one is in the bag”. Normally a man of few words the Everton manager then went on to say, “A lot of people didn’t see us winning the league, there are a couple of games to go… sure… but at this point it is ours to lose. We are fairly sure we have what it takes to edge over the finish line. If we finish 1 or 2 it’s ok, we have done our best. The main thing is we have secured Champions League Football.”
Richarlison and Lewin Spat
While Ancelotti tries to steer Everton to their first premier league title, he has to contend with some internal conflict regarding his strikers. Richarlison has expressed his anguish to the African Football Expert, “I wish the bastard would stop running on to my strikes! He can see they are going in! But he runs onto them and bangs them in from point blank range like some kinda hero?”
They are not going in
Calvert-Lewin, Richarlison’s striking companion has also chipped in with a response, “He clearly needs glasses, I only tap them in if they seem off target, except the two I needed for my hat-trick, ok fair enough, I blasted those in. But I wanted a hat-trick, you have to have a strikers wit!”
