Gameweek 2 – Milla’s Picks

Milla our Mascot has vowed to use as many African players as possible in his team this season. And always (barring the African Cup of Nations) captain an African player and pretty much show the world how it is done! African Style.

Three at the back

Serge Aurier missed out on the opening of the season last week. And it is no wonder Jose’s Spurs missed out on the 3 points. The strong Ivorian is a strong differential for your team, he is a strong candidate for clean sheets and creating goals down the other end. With an away trip to Everton, it only makes sense to field your strongest defence. And Aurier has imence African power! We complete our back three with Ake and Wan-Bissaka, both like Aurier are a double threat with some added attacking returns. It is a bit of a gamble but hey! It is early season and we can afford to take a few calculated risks. Ideally we would like to see one of these fellas hit double figures and not shit the bed.

Mo Salah!!!

Now not to blow our own vuvuzela here, but we captained Mo Gameweek 1. The Egyptian netted 3 times to get us off to a flyer! Sweet sweet 40 points. Even though the next opponent is Chelsea, it would be silly not to have him in the team. He is looking sharp, he is on penalties and he is bang in form!

Milla’s Captain Pick

While we would love to stick with Mo… The West Ham Fixture for Aubs, looks too good to pass up, we would go as far to say, we want to triple captain Aubameyang! But our African elders have instilled patience in us. Aubameyang recently put a pen to paper and we are sure he wants to show the Gunners he means business. Strikers have an uncanny ability to find the back of the net when new contracts are signed! We round off our midfield selections with Mane, Traore and Trezeguet, who wouldnt be shaking in their little boots seeing a line up like that!? We are opting for speed and creativity with a strong possbility of attacking returns from each. Mane will make managers regret transferring him out so soon. Mark our words! Wolves are City’s bogey team, so we will be cheering the beast that is Traore on!

Arsenal Double up!

We are pretty much set on Arsenal taking West Ham to the cleaners this weekend. Nketiah is a great differential and option up front, he also serves a good back up for Aubs should he fail to hit the back of the net. Ayew….ah yeeeew whooooo… now if he scores, it affects Wan-Bissakas score, which can be an issue, thruthfully we are hoping both score. Ayew is infamous for upsetting some big teams, will he do it this weekend. We love Ayew, always the under dog.
